Dr. H. Tu grew up in Edmonton. He attended the University of Alberta where he obtained his bachelor of science degree with specialization in pharmacology. He then completed his Doctor of Optometry with Honors from the University of Waterloo in 2006. Dr. Tu has been a member of the Edmonton Society of Optometrist, the Alberta Association of Optometrist, and the Alberta College of Optometrist since 2006. Dr. Tu is fluent in English and Cantonese. Dr. Tu number one priority is patient health, service, and satisfaction. He is grateful for all the wonderful patients that have placed their trust in him over the years. As an independent eye care provider and owner of the business, Dr. Tu is continuously motivated to grow in every aspects of his profession. Whether its in the exam room, the optical, or the lab, Dr. Tu enjoys being involved and available in every step of the way. It is through this continuous interaction with the patients that Dr. Tu is able to demonstrate his passion, empathy, and competence. This continuous interaction provides an opportunity to understand what the patient needs and wants. Everybody is different and eye care should be personalized.
During his free time, Dr. Tu enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, hockey and basketball.
